How long will it take someone to sail across the world in a small Sailing Boat?
Current record in a large trimaran is about 72 days (Dame Ellen McArthur) with a capability of over 30 knots. Slash that to 5 knots for a boat under 30 ft and you’d be around 432-plus days…so well over a year maintaining optimum speed which is unlikely.
